Final Fantasy 8, The lastest rpg in Squares acclaimed Final Fantasy Series has been said to be one of the greatest rpg's of all time, and from what we have seen from the demo, it looks like it could be true. The demo starts of with one of the most visually impressive cut-scenes every seen on a video game. Everything from the detail of the main charater, Squall to the ultrarealistic water is done to near perfection.
The battle system in Final Fantasy 8 is another thing worth mentioning. Firstly the materia seems to be replaced by something called a Guardian Force. The first Guardian Force is the Leviathan, which has to be one of the most visually impressive spells in any rpg.
After playing the demo it has to be said that Final Fantasy 8 is aiming to be a smash hit next fall and looks set to do everything Final Fantasy 7 did but better. It sure seems that Square once again will enjoy a huge success with Final Fantasy 8, as it has done with all other Final Fantasy games.
