PROJECT: TENKA

If you have played Quake then you should know the gameplay of Tenka. This is a true 3D shooter, the first on the PlayStation. The bad thing is, the 3d isnt used as much as it should have been. There should have been catwalks and bridges and other 3D inhancements. The control is smooth and is good.

Graphics
Great graphics, better than Alien Trilogy. I thought the blood effects were cool and were a nice addition. The ability to shoot off body parts was a neat extra that I liked. It needs to be implemented in more titles. The lighting is annoying because it is too dark to see. It would be cool if you could pickup a flashlight or something to light the game up. The lazer sight on the gun was really cool and helped with the hard aiming.

Sound
A crappy track on the first couple of levels turns into a heavy track that kept the pace up. Animals and cyborgs getting shot made gooey sounds, Cool. Nice overall atmospheric sounds.

Overall
A continuously gorier game that doesnt have a point or enough to do. An easily improved game with harder AI and more enemy types. Give us a task to do in the game not collect keys to exit. It could have been alot better so I give it a 7.
