Graphics 9.5/10
Honestly, Fighting Vipers has good graphics. They
may be a little rough, but the light-sourcing and
goraud shading of the characters make it a cool
game. Although the arcade was much clearer,
Fighting Vipers still is a good arcade translation and
all. The most fun part of the game is doing the
charge-ups, breaking the armor and sending people
off buildings. Fighting Vipers is a really cool fighting
game. Unlike other polygonal fighting games,
Fighting Vipers is the only game that I've seen so far
that offers real 3D rotation.
Playability 9.5/10
Combos and player control are some of the finer
points in Fighting Vipers. Control of the players
seems better and more responsive than Virtua
Fighter 2 and other Playstation fighting games that
I've played so far. Turning on the hyper mode,
allows players to side-step and surprise the enemy
from any direction. Fighting with a friend makes this
game a lot better. Smashing guitars, and
skateboards make it fun and exciting.
Sound 8.5/10
Voice recording is so low that even the BGM
drowns out the voices at times. The only positive
aspect about the sounds of Fighting Vipers is the
funky music. The music in Fighting Vipers is so
great and so cool, you'll forget that you're playing a
game at all!
Hardness 8.5/10
This game is pretty hard at first, but once you get
the hang of it, it's fairly easy.
Lastability 8.9/10
Hidden characters, perfecting combos and all,
keep you coming back for more.
Overall Rating: 9.2/10
You want a game to beat the crap off Tekken 2?
Then get Fighting Vipers. The action is faster, the
moves and combos are better and over-all it's more
fun. Especially when you get characters such as
Kuma-chan and Pepsi Man! Fighting Vipers, in my
opinion, is the best fighting game on the market for
any system, whether it may be the Saturn, N64,
Playstation or 3D0.
